Heistakes is an escape room at Escapologic escape rooms in Nottingham, UK. It is a bank robbery escape room where players have to enter Scelus Bank to steal the elusive Godstone crystal. It has recently has a merger with Castle Gate Technologies security and it is up to the team to exploit it's vulnerablities.
Terminal
As part of the game, the players will encounter a computer terminal which they will need to use to lift the security lockdown. This terminal is used to type in codes as well as being spoken to the hacker that is part of the game V10LET. The visuals weren't made by me but the functionality of being able to type into the computer terminal as part of various puzzles was programmed by me.
Minigame
Players will also encounter a minigame that they will play to allow the hacker V10LET to get into the banks security system.
They will play through 3 levels where they have to control V10LET with a joystick through a maze to get to the gate at the end of the level before they run out of time and the level resets. The player will have to avoid the red walls otherwise they will be stunned temporarily.
Once the player has navigated through each of the levels, they are rewarded with a door that will open to help the team with another puzzle.
